Harman Dhaliwal - 13 March 2026

On Friday the 13th of March, 2026, Harman Dhaliwal discovered a serious bug in the NAPLAN locked down browser! He found that you could open Raycast (a tool with many applications, including AI) while NAPLAN was open, by running both applications as administrator. Thankfully, he swiftly reported this security flaw to the local IT department, who were quick to alert the Department of Education.

He has now joined Jamex!

During NAPLAN, it was impossible to exit the locked-down browser while waiting for the NAPLAN test to begin. However, Ethan Moroney found a way! Therefore, he is also automatically an official employee of Jamex, because he didn't have a position before! This is how Ethan got out of it:

  1. He pressed the power button (turned the computer off)
  2. He turned it on again
  3. He shut it down
  4. He logged in
  5. He was out of the NAPLAN locked-down browser!

Excellent work, Ethan!
